It was pure joy for me and I flew through the book in two weeks and a half. So you can imagine how excited I was to dive back into the story and to hear the awesome rendition made by the ppl over at Graphic Audio. It is written by my all-time favorite author and it is MASSIVE! YEY! However Stormlight Archive is still at the beginning. When I started reading fantasy and documenting my progress on Goodreads, the above mentioned series were either completed or nearing completion. I don’t think I mentioned this before, but the Stormlight Archive is, for me at least, the equivelent of other fantasy readers’ Wheel of Time or Malazan Book of the Fallen series. I had no Internet and no computer, yet I was so excited to write it, that most of my time spent on the train back to Bucharest from my weekend trip was me writing the words of this review in my physical journal. This faint idea I had that materialized into a dream, made me remember that I still have a review to write for WoR. (Spoiler alert: Probably somewhere north of Jah Kaved, near Herdaz, and eating up a large part of the sea until the isles 😀 )Īnd that’s it. And in this dream I dreamt myself scanning the map of Roshar and trying to figure out where the kindgoms from Warbreaker would be placed IF Warbreaker happened on Roshar and not Nalthis. It’s wonderful for me because I haven’t had a dream I can remember in weeks. WILL contain spoilers! Read at your own risk! That is not entirely true, as this weekend I went to my elder sister’s place in the mountains and something wonderful happened to me.

In place of a proper review, for about three days I had a little confession thing wherein I stated that because of my depression, I felt nothing when I managed to finish the book. I finished this book 6 days ago, and yet during this time I felt so hard pressed by worries that all ideas I had for a review were nowhere in sight. Took me quite a while to actually write a review for the Words of Radiance (WoR).
